Kevin a Vietnam vet, womanizer, drug dealer, on a routine trip from Chicago to Tucson discovers The Essene Gospel of Peace in the drug house he occupies for 5 days. This loveless man pursuing huge drug profits finds that his internal balance of energies is all messed up.
At the same time he is waiting for his next shipment, Tucson is being visited by his holiness the Dali Lama. Halcyon a docudrama weaves interviews of peace seekers who are gathered outside the Tucson Convention Center with the drama of this drug dealers visit. Reading passages from the gospel, Kevin opens up his spirit to Mother Earth and her angels. He is visited by the angels of air, water, light, creative work, sleep, and finally the angel of peace. After reconnecting with Mother Earth, Kevin also reconnects with his feminine energy, and finds that the war between men and women is what is causing the imbalance of energy in the world.
